- Penn’s Cycling School offers Smart cycling Classes and opportunities: USF/Tampa BayCycle – Commuter Classes: Dates: November 17th, December 1st 2010 - Learn how to ride safely in traffic in order to use the bicycle for commuting. Youth and Skills Instructor Training - December 4th 2010 Students will be able to conduct and assist in youth safety clinics Junior Cycling Development: - Saturdays beginning January 15th 2011, Tampa’s premier youth cycling development for School age Children ages 9-18. Traffic Skills 101- February 18-19, 2011 - This is a 9 hour course designed by League of American Bicyclists to teach you how to ride safely in traffic, LCI Seminar (become an LCI) – April 1-3, 2011 - This is a 20 hour course that prepares an individual for becoming a League Certified Instructor – TS101 and League approval is required Students will receive professional instruction and on- bike experience from LAB league cycling instructor & Cycling Coach, Sharon Monahan. Sharon is a Multiple National Champion and has been riding and racing for 25 years.
