Penn’s Cycling School Presents: Women’s Cycling Series:

Who: Women looking to improve their cycling skills and enjoyment.

When: 5 weeks Monday’s September 13, 20, 27, October 4, 11, (Oct 18- rain date)

Time: 6:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.

Where: Flatwoods Park BBD entrance parking lot

What: Experience specialized instruction in a small group to Improve and develop bicycle handling skill, safety maneuvers, group riding skills riding and training techniques. Learn to ride safely in a group and on multi-use trails. Taught by Sharon Monahan a League of American Bicyclists (LCI) and USA Cycling-Coach

Cost: $100.00 (includes materials) Pre registration required (5 rider minimum to hold clinic) (space is limited)

Traffic skills 101 class anounced.. limited space

Penn’s Cycling School Presents: Traffic Skills 101:

Who: Anyone who wants to develop your bicycle handling skills.

When: Friday April 9, Friday April 16, Sunday April 18 and Sunday May 2

Time: Fridays: 7:00 - 9:15 PM, Sundays: TBD

Where: University Bicycle Center

What: Develop bicycle handling skills. Learn to ride safely in traffic and on multi-use trails, and to fix common mechanical problems. Curriculum developed by League of American Bicyclists

Youth Cycling Skills Instructor Clinic


Penn’s Cycling School Presents: YOUTH Cycling Skills Instructor training:

Who: Anyone who works or wants to work with children or adults on bicycles

When: Saturday March 13, 2010

Time: 8:30AM – 3:00PM

Where: Upper Tampa Bay Trail Ranger Station: 9201 W Waters Ave Tampa, Fl - 33635 ($2.00 park fee required)

What: Youth Skills Instructors will become proficient in implementing the Bicycling Skills 123 for youth cycling skills instruction. This latest updated curriculum is designed by the League of American Bicyclists. As part of the training, Instructors will practice an actual Bicycle Safety Clinic for school age children. This on-hands training will enable instructors to take their knowledge and skill back to their schools and/or communities to implement such clinics.

Cost: $50.00 (includes materials and lunch) Pre registration required – space is limited
